The child may qualify for coverage if he or she is a U.S. citizen or legal immigrant status. Usually, I can apply for Medicaid if you have limited income and resources. You must be one of the following descriptions.
Pregnant Women
Apply for Medicaid if you think you are pregnant. You may qualify if you are married or single. If you are on Medicaid when your baby is born, you and your child will be covered.
Children and Teenagers
Search Medicaid, if you are a parent of a 18 years old or younger child and income are limited, if your child is sick and requires medical care. If you are a teenager to live alone, a State may permit you to apply for Medicaid on behalf of themselves or adults may apply to you. Many states are also children up to 21 years.
Person who is Aged, Blind, and/or Disabled
Use this if you are aged (65 years or older) blind, disabled and having limited income and assets. You can apply if you are sick and want hospice services. Apply if elderly, blind, disabled needs nursing home care, but they can stay home a special outpatient services.
Other Situations
Apply if you fail to meet the needs of health and wellness. Applies if you are a family with children under 18 years and have limited income and resources. Applies if you have high medical expenses, you can not pay. |
